Come to the Redeemer Cup and enjoy a day of spirited, World Cup-style competition. Kids will enjoy clowns, face painting and presentations by the Utica Zoo’s ZooMobile, and everyone will enjoy the great food. Water and ice cream will also be available. In a cosmopolitan atmosphere, you might even learn something about our community and make a new friend.
Don’t miss the Opening Ceremony, with guest appearances by community leaders, an Olympic-style parade of the teams, and the National Anthem.
On Saturday we will start with four groups of four teams each, playing on four fields. Each team will play three games, playing for one hour and resting for one hour. The top two teams from each group will advance to the play-off round on Sunday.
Remember to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. You may also wish to bring comfortable chairs!
