Last year’s World Cup was held in South Africa. But with our diverse population, we have the world right here in Utica! That is why we are excited to announce the second annual Redeemer Cup–Utica’s own international soccer tournament on July 30th & 31st at Proctor Park on Culver Ave. All the players of the 16 teams are local residents, but they have come from Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. Be sure not to miss the colorful opening ceremony on Saturday at 10:30AM. Then stick around, sample the food, cheer on your team, and enjoy the 2011 Redeemer Cup.
